Chopper #1

Chopper 1 Cover

Writer: Martin Shapiro
Penciller/Inker: Juan Ferreyra (Rex Mundi, Small Gods)
Cover Art: Cris Ortega

Chopper is a modern-day reimagining of the headless horseman of Sleepy Hollow fame. When high school cheerleader Christina Winwood starts selling a new drug called Stairway to Heaven to her classmates, all hell breaks loose. The mystical substance offers a phenomenal high five times more potent than Ecstasy, but it has an eerie side effect – it opens your sixth sense, piercing the mystical veil that separates the world of the living from the realm of the dead. During the hallucinogenic high, you can see ghosts, and because you’ve crossed over into their domain, they can affect you. Some thrill seekers think this is the coolest thing ever, but unfortunately not all ghosts are friendly!
